2. Products Curated Gift Boxes
By The Curator offers curated gift boxes composed of carefully selected products sourced from independent makers and international brands.
All gift boxes are sold as complete curated experiences. Individual items contained within the boxes are not sold separately unless explicitly stated.
Product descriptions, dimensions, materials, and images are provided as accurately as possible. However, due to the nature of artisan production, natural materials, and supplier variations, minor differences in color, texture, packaging, or finish may occur.
Such variations do not affect the quality or intended use of the products.
Certain collections or items may be limited in quantity or availability.
3. Intellectual Property

4. Orders Payments
All prices are listed in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated.
Orders are confirmed only after full payment has been successfully completed.
Payments are processed through secure encrypted payment gateways. By The Curator does not store credit card information.
By The Curator reserves the right to cancel or refuse an order in cases including but not limited to:
- suspected fraud
- payment authorization failure
- incorrect pricing or technical error
- inaccurate customer information
- product unavailability
If an order must be cancelled due to pricing or technical errors, the customer will receive a full refund.
5. Shipping Delivery
All orders are prepared and shipped from Lisbon, Portugal.
Delivery times vary depending on the destination country, shipping method, and customs procedures.
Estimated delivery times provided at checkout are guidelines only and are not guaranteed.
By The Curator shall not be responsible for delays caused by:
- shipping carriers
- customs inspections or clearance procedures
- weather conditions
- force majeure events
- circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon successful delivery.
For gift orders, risk transfers to the recipient at the moment of delivery.
6. Customs, Duties Taxes (Non-EU Orders)
Orders delivered outside the European Union may be subject to:
- customs inspections
- import duties
- local taxes
- customs brokerage fees
These charges are determined by the destination country and are not included in the purchase price.
The recipient is responsible for paying any applicable import duties or taxes.
By The Curator cannot be held responsible for delays resulting from customs procedures.
7. Alcohol Products
Some gift boxes may contain alcoholic beverages such as wine.
Alcoholic products may only be shipped to destinations where such shipments are legally permitted.
By placing an order containing alcohol, the customer confirms that the recipient:
- is of legal drinking age in their country
- is legally permitted to receive alcoholic products
By The Curator reserves the right to cancel alcohol shipments where regulations restrict delivery.
8. Food Items Allergies
Some curated gift boxes may include food products such as chocolate, coffee, tea, or gourmet items.
Recipients are responsible for reviewing ingredient information provided by the original manufacturer before consumption.
By The Curator shall not be held responsible for allergic reactions, dietary restrictions, or health conditions related to food consumption.
9. Damaged Items Claims
Customers or recipients must inspect orders upon delivery.
If an item arrives damaged, By The Curator must be notified within 48 hours of delivery.
To process a claim, the following documentation is required:
- clear photographs of the damaged item
- photographs of the external shipping box
- photographs of the internal packaging
Claims submitted after 48 hours or without sufficient documentation may not be accepted.
10. Returns Right of Withdrawal
Due to the curated nature of our products and the gift-based purpose of many orders, returns based solely on personal preference are not accepted.
Where applicable under EU consumer law, the right of withdrawal may not apply to:
- sealed goods opened after delivery
- perishable items
